Access and Roles

This page describes how documentation is provided to users with approved access.

Audience

  • Team users who execute test runs
  • Reviewers who trace reports and outcomes
  • Project stakeholders who monitor test status
  • Reader: can read documentation and understand test flows.
  • Tester: can execute tests and generate reports.
  • Maintainer: can update documentation and test definitions.

Access Model for Private Repositories

The repository stays private. Only the generated static site from the site folder is hosted.

Recommended security controls:

  • Access only via company login (SSO)
  • Optional additional VPN or IP restrictions
  • Write access to documentation only for maintainers

User Distribution

  • Share the URL internally (for example in the team wiki)
  • Make the documentation version visible
  • Communicate changes through release notes
